Playa de Poo

The Beach at Poo

The beach has been designated as a semi natural beach. It can be found along the right hand side of the cove which has been formed by the river Vallina. The beach is separated from the open sea and access to the sea is via a narrow pathway through the rocks. The beach itself is therefore very sheltered from the tides.

For many beach goers this is an ideal beach. It has got direct access to the main road, the AS-263. It is very close to the railway and there are car parks close by. It has a wide range of services, such as life guards, a Red Cross post, showers, telephones, waste bins, and a beach clearing service. There are campsites, hotels restaurants and seasonal establishments nearby.
